The Rule of Law

"At base, the rule of law is about a rule by law, not men, about law, as Aristotle would have it, as reason devoid of passion. In real terms, what this translates to in the modern world should be, I suggest, about equality before the law-particularly for the despised, for the frightening, for the dispossessed, for the disenfranchised, for the outsider, for the alien. It means that nobody should be deprived of their liberty without the right to be heard, and the right to be heard is valueless without the ability to see the information upon which the decision to detain is made."

ประท้วงงดข้าว ม.ออกนอกระบบ

วันก่อนไปประชุมที่รัฐสภาแต่เช้า เห็นนักศึกษานั่งอดข้าวประท้วงม.ออกนอกระบบ
มองไปข้างๆ เครื่องดื่มชูกำลัง นมถั่วเหลือง มากมาย ประชุมเสร็จก็เที่ยง
นั่งรถตู้ออกมา อ้าวนักศึกษาที่อดข้าวไปไหนแล้วละ เหลือแต่เสื่อวางเปล่า
ไม่ทันรถจะเลี้ยวออกจากรัฐสภา ก็มีเสียงหนึ่งดังเปรยๆมาจากด้านหลังรถ
"สงสัยพวกนักศึกษาเค้าจะพักกินเที่ยงวะ ?!?"
